Following Divine Liturgy on November 12,  St. John’s had a Thanksgiving Dinner enjoyed by our parishioners’ families and friends.   It was truly a combined blessing of pleasant fellowship and delicious food.   It brought to mind Psalm 133:   “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!   It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!   It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion!   For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life for evermore.”    May God bless abundantly all those who helped in any way to make this the wonderful event it turned out to be.
