Our annual appreciation dinner was held at the Brownstone in Paterson. The dinner combined our trustees and our choir since many of our parishioners are active in both groups. Pictures of the event can be seen on the pictures’ page.

Happy Birthday to all our parishioners celebrating
a birthday in July.

On June 15, our fathers were treated to a package of chocolate golf balls and baseballs. In the picture above, Eva Stashitsky is handing out packages to Ed Fedush and John Kary. In May, on Mothers’ Day, Kathy Cahayla distributed flowers to our mothers. On both occasions, prayers for the moms and dads living and deceased were said.

Our president of the board of trustees, Greg Cahayla, participated in the graduation exercises at School 14. He distributed an American Express gift certificate to the top student in each of the ten classes in the school. We are encouraged by the success this school has enjoyed and have awarded these certificates for the past few years.

The board of trustees is planning a trip to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse dinner theatre for Sunday afternoon, October 5. The play that day is “My Three Angels,” a comedy. For more information, please contact Betty Czech at church any Sunday or e-mail this website.

Summertime is a good time for many to catch up on reading. As a reminder, place the bible at the top of your reading list. The church office now has new Orthodox study bibles on sale at a nominal cost. Please see anyone in the office or any trustee for your copy. Every home should have one.
