Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye. (Luke 6:42 42)

Grant rest eternal in blessed repose, O Lord, to Thy servants who have fallen asleep, and make their memory to be eternal!

O Master, Teacher of Wisdom, Bestower of virtue, who teaches the thoughtless and protects the poor:  strengthen and enlighten my heart.  O Word of the Father, let me not restrain my mouth from crying to Thee:  Have mercy on me, a transgressor, O Merciful Lord. 

So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets. (Matt 7:12)
