Meeting of the Lord into the Temple - Divine Liturgy 9:00 a.m. and blessing of candles.   "My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

Great Vespers for Sunday Divine Liturgy  -   But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matt 6:3-4)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings; (Heb 13:8-9)

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;  and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,  not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Heb. 10:22-25)

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,  equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.  (Heb 13:20-21)

Take care, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.  (1 Heb 3:12)

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony to which was borne at the proper time. (1 Tim 2:5-6)

Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe;  for our God is a consuming fire. (Heb 12:28-29) 

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving;  for then it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.             (1 Tim 4:4-5)
