Sunday Divine Liturgy - The second Sunday of Lent is the commemoration of St. Gregory Palamas. It was St. Gregory (de. 1359) who bore living witness that men can become divine through the grace of God in the Holy Spirit. St. Gregory clearly teaches that by cooperating with the God who makes all things possible, we can attain eternal life.

Divine Liturgy - 9:00 a.m. - St. John of the Ladder - The fourth Sunday of Lent is dedicated to St. John of the Ladder (Climacus), the author of the work, The Ladder of Divine Ascent.  This book contains thirty homilies on virtue.  Each homily deals with one virtue and they raise a man up as though by means of steps unto the height of Heaven.
