Sunday, Nov. 15, begins the Fast for the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At Christmas we celebrate the birth as a man of the Son of God, the one who is truly God, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, from all eternity. This year the usual hustle and bustle of the season should be toned down to include extra prayers and effort to insure the event of the birth of our Savior is more than decorations and gifts.
