CHRIST IS RISEN! INDEED HE IS RISEN!

Apr 24, 2011

The liturgical year revolves around the crucified and risen Christ.  It has been said that Easter is the hinge on which the whole church year swings.  It is the greatest and most exalted feast, the feast of feasts in the Orthodox Church.  "This is the chosen and holy day, first of Sabbaths, king and lord of days, the feast of feasts, holy day of holy days. On this day we bless Christ forevermore (Irmos 8, Paschal Canon).”....       Join us in proclaiming with faith and joy:  CHRIST IS RISEN!   INDEED HE IS RISEN!      Please note:  to enlarge the pictures, please move your curser slowly over the first, or any, picture especially around the edge of the photo until you find the hand with the pointing finger.  Click on the hand and you should be able to enlarge the photo.  When you have the enlarged photo, just click on the arrows under the picture to go on to the others.
