The journey to Pascha started on February 10, Zacchaeus Sunday.  The pre-Lenten Sundays prepare us for the Great Fast that will soon follow.  Great Lent started on March 11, Monday with the Great Compline and Canon of St. Andrew and continued until Friday April 19.  April 20 was Lazarus Saturday and Sunday April 21 was Palm Sunday.  Pictures of the journey at St. John's follow through to the Great and Holy Pascha, and Bright Monday with the blessing of the church building on each side with Gospel readings and children carrying icons.
