Cemetery Blessings on St. Thomas Sunday
Cemetery blessing was held at East Ridgelawn on St. Thomas Sunday, which was also Mother's Day. A Panikhida was held in the chapel on the grounds for all those who were remembered by their families and friends; and following the service, individual graves were blessed. In the morning our appreciation was shown to all those women who were in church, and here it was fitting that we visit and pray for those wonderful mothers who had fallen asleep in the Lord.
