Orthodoxy Sunday at St. John's
March 1, Orthodoxy Sunday, was the first Sunday in Great Lent. Here at St. John's, we hosted a Pan-Orthodox Deanery Vespers. His Grace, Bishop Michael invited His Eminence, Metropolitan Joseph of the Antiochian Archdiocese to be the homilist. Invitation was also extended to clergy and faithful of various jurisdictions. Lenten refreshments were served following the Vespers. Pictures of the event follow.
