A Panikhida service was held following Divine Liturgy on July 26 in memory of Anastasia Petrow, mother of Rose Mary Petrow on the 27th anniversary of her repose. May her memory be Eternal! Vechnaya Pamat.
Congratulations to Father Maryan and Matushka Svitlana on their 37th Wedding Anniversary (July 29). May God continue to bless your marriage with love, peace, good health, and abundant joy. The flowers adorning the icon of St. John the Baptist on July 26 were donated by Rose Mary Petrow in loving memory of her mother, Anastasia. The flowers for the icon of the Holy Theotokos were donated by Matushka Svitlana in honor of the 37th anniversary of Fr. Maryian and Matushka Svitlana
Sincere thanks to our altar server, Simeon Graffeo for another generous donation of a case of altar wine to our church. His kindness and support to our church help sustain our worship and ministry. We are grateful for his faithful stewardship and commitment to our parish community. May God bless him abundantly for his generosity.
The Dormition Fast began on August 1, 2026. Please refrain from meat, dairy, and oil. The fast ends with the Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, celebrated on August 15, 2026. General Confession will be held following Great Vespers on Saturday, August 8.
Reminder: Please bring fruit to be blessed on the Feast of the Transfiguration on August 6 following Divine Liturgy and bring flowers and herbs to be blessed after Divine Liturgy on August 15 on the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God.
Please remember our Food Pantry and our neighbors who have need of the help; and have a safe and happy Vacation, but remember to attend church where you are!
Many thanks go to Benjamin Kalemba for bringing jars of honey that were blessed on August 2 following Divine Liturgy. The jars were then distributed to our parishioners. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless Benjamin for his kindness and generosity, granting him many years, good health, peace, and His abundant mercy.
