August News.....

July 28, 2019 was the last Sunday that Fr. Igor served here at St. John’s. He left us with his message:    “Farewell and Thank You – On this last Sunday here at St. John’s, Father Igor, together with Matushka Anna, Maxim, and Sofia would like to once again thank God, His Eminence Archbishop Michael, and all our St. John’s family for the privilege of being able to serve here for the last six amazing years. We have come to know so many wonderful people, and we are grateful beyond words for your kindness which you have shown us in so many ways. It began with your warm welcome and continues with your prayers as we transition to our new assignment. Please continue to pray for us. May God bless all of you abundantly with all His earthly and heavenly blessings for Many Years! If you ever are in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, please visit us at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church there, we will be happy to see you!”

The parishioners and relatives, and all our friends of St. John’s wish Father Igor, Matushka Anna, Maxim, and Sofia, God’s blessings for a rewarding spiritual life of service to our Lord and Savior at his new assignment.  We here at St. John’s were emotionally and spiritually uplifted by the beautiful services, and we are sure the parishioners of his new church will be enriched by Fr. Igor’s prayers and Matushka Anna’s beautiful voice. We all will miss them.   May God grant Father Igor, Matushka Anna, and Maxim and Sofia, Many Many Years!
