Choir Appreciation Sunday at St. John's.......

Choir Appreciation Sunday - God loves a church choir. All throughout the bible we hear encouragement to sing to Him. In 2 Samuel 22:50, we find "For this I will extol Thee, O LORD , among the nations, and sing praises to Thy name.” In 1 Chron 16:9 we read “Sing to Him, sing praises to Him, tell of all His wonderful works!” And of course, the Psalms are filled with verses that echo Ps 13:6 which tells us “I will sing to the LORD , because He has dealt bountifully with me.” This wonderful method of praise is conveyed with love and devotion by our own Choir, led by our Choir Director, Maryann Stagen.

Our Choir today is pictured here with our Pastor, Fr. Maryan. Thank you Maryann, and thank you to all those who give their time and love to our Choir and to our church. God loves all of us with an unyielding love and giving Him thanks and praise in the form of song has been essential throughout the ages. God wants us to thank Him for His love and it is important to do so with songs of praise to His glory. Maryann and the choir was presented a bouquet of flowers to show our appreciation to their wonderful and selfless efforts. We love you all and may God grant you all Many Years!
