"And she brought forth her firstborn Son,and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."   (Luke 2:6-7)     So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:  "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call his name Immanuel,"  which is translated, "God with us."  (Matthew 22-23)   And he called His name Jesus.   (Matthew 1:25)


When You, O Lord were baptized in the Jordan,

The worship of the Trinity was made manifest

For the voice of the Father bore witness to You

And called You His beloved Son.

Christmas morning following Divine Liturgy, parishioners and friends joined together in the Church Hall for a luncheon. Greetings of Christ is Born! Glorify Him! resounded throughout the hall. On Saturday morning, following Divine Liturgy, we assembled once more to continue the good will and companionship. Christ is Born! Glorify Him!
