Intercessory Prayers:  We pray for all our fellow parishioners, and especially for those who are unable to be with us in church and those who are  experiencing problems with their health.  Please keep in your prayers our Brothers and Sisters in Christ:  Genevieve, Margaret, Effie, Maryann, Astrid, Richard and Janet, Maria, Marilyn and Janice.  Let us pray:   “Lord, to You I lift up my voice; stretch forth Your powerful arm.  Send down from heaven Your healing power.  Touch my sick body.  Bless the means used for my recovery and those who administer them.  My hope is the Father,  my refuge is the Son, my protection is the Holy Spirit,.  Blessed Trinity, glory to Thee.”

Sincere thanks go to:     Matthew Kary and our altar boy, Simeon Graffeo, for their generous donation of incense for our church;   and to Reader Konrad Patelsky for his generous donation of a beautiful glass and stainless steel electric tea kettle for use at our church altar.      Thank you all for your kindness and thoughtfulness donating these items to St. John’s.  May God bless you all abundantly for your generosity and service to our church!

Autumn Parish Picnic:  Our autumn parish picnic will be held on Sunday, September 20, after Divine Liturgy (approximately from noon until 3:00 p.m.) at our rectory back yard. Come, see and taste all the delicious homemade foods.  Lots of fun for children (bouncy house, face painting, and much more) and Christian fellowship.

Many thanks to all those who reliably donate to our food pantry.  Helen Baron, our Food Pantry Coordinator would like to remind everyone that donations are always  being collected to fill our baskets for our less fortunate neighbors.   Your help is greatly appreciated.
